JADYN BURROWS
(Class of ‘25)
Jadyn Burrows is a Junior that has been an Ovation member since her Sophomore year.
Within this last year she has participated in the plays “Love and Information”, and Ovation’s 22-23 UIL production “Secret in The Wings” as well as the musical “Matilda”. She has loved being able to do all these shows and is very excited for her future in Ovation.
As an Officer, she wants to make sure every type of person can have a voice in Ovation and find a home here.
ANDREW BENNETT
(Class of ‘24)
Andrew Bennett is going to be a Senior this year and couldn’t be happier with his time at Dawson High School.
He’s been part of 7 Ovation shows such as Chicago and Matilda. In addition to acting, he likes to do improv and has served as the Improvaganza Co-Captain and now the 2023-2024 Captain.
As an Officer, he’s extremely excited to go into his final year full of great memories yet to be experienced.
KHADI NGUYEN
(Class of ‘24)
Khadi Nguyen is a Senior that has participated in all Ovation productions since her Freshman year!
Throughout her years, she has been able to experience being in movies/plays such as Hamlet, This Girl, and Love and Information, breathtaking musicals such as Chicago, The Sound of Music, and Matilda, and award-winning UIL One Act Plays such as 33 Variations, My Friend the Octopus, and The Secret in the Wings.
As a returning Ovation Officer, she is ready to continue providing a friendly and engaging environment for all members.
RIANNA ROY
(Class of ‘24)
Rianna Roy is a Senior and has been a part of Ovation since her freshman year.
She has been a part of numerous shows since her time at Ovation, which include the plays This Girl and Love and Information, the musicals Chicago and Matilda, and the remarkable UIL One Act Plays such as My Friend the Octopus and The Secret in the Wings.
As an Ovation Officer, Rianna hopes to provide a safe and extremely exciting environment for all members of Ovation to keep learning more about the art of theatre, including herself.
AMBER SCHAEFER
(Class of ‘25)
Amber Schaefer is a Junior who has been a part of Ovation Theatre since her Freshman year.
Throughout high school, she has been a part of Chicago, The Sound of Music, Love and Information, Matilda, and award-winning One Act Plays such as My Friend the Octopus and The Secret in the Wings. She is also an active member of the Encore Choir, participating in events such as All State and Solo and Ensemble.
As an Officer, she is excited to help create a welcoming environment for those new to this program and those excited to share their love of theatre!
EVAN STRACHOTA
(Class of ‘24)
Evan Strachota is a Senior that has been a member of Ovation since their Sophomore year.
Since joining Ovation, they’ve looked for every opportunity to be in the theater: volunteering and working on shows in their free time. They’ve worked with many different areas of the crew either during a show or just to help out. They plan to study technical theatre in college and pursue it as a career.
As an Ovation Officer, they hope to inspire others to learn about technical theatre and get excited about tech!
