Joshua Cordes
(Class of ‘28)

Joshua Cordes is a rising junior and has been an active and passionate Ovation Theatre member since his freshman year.

Since then, he has shown his acting/technical abilities in the 5 shows he’s been a part of and has been a member of Improvaganza for 1 year. He is excited to start the new year and is looking forward to all the amazing memories he will make with his peers.

As an Ovation Officer, Joshua wants to make sure Ovation is a safe and welcoming place for everyone so that everyone can feel safe and secure to be who they are.

 

Andrew Fan
(Class of ‘27)

Andrew Fan has been a dedicated member of Ovation Theatre since his freshman year.

By auditioning and applying for all Ovation opportunities, Andrew has been able to grow as an individual and as a leader. He has participated in a total of 11 Ovation shows -- including two state qualifying UIL OAP companies, has had two nationally qualifying IEs at Texas Thespians Festival, and has been a three-year member of Improvaganza.

As an Ovation officer, Andrew hopes to uplift and advocate for underclassmen, continue Ovation’s legacy, and ultimately create an environment where incoming and current Ovation members can thrive and be themselves.

 

Kate Kannady
(Class of ‘27)

Kate Kannady is a senior who has been an Ovation member since her freshman year as well as an Ovation Officer since her Junior year.

During her time here she has been a part of 11 Ovation productions. She’s been involved in shows such as Hairspray, Peter and the Starcatcher, W;t, The Music Man, and Failure: A Love Story. She has loved getting to grow as a performer with each one. Ovation has become such a special part of her high school experience, and she’s so thankful for the memories and friendships it has brought her. 

As an Officer, Kate is excited to help make Ovation a fun and welcoming place for everyone to be themselves while doing what they love. 

 

Hannah Lundberg
(Class of ‘27)

Hannah Lundberg is a senior who has been a member of Ovation Theatre since her freshman year as well as an Ovation officer since her sophomore year.

She has enjoyed all 11 Ovation productions that she has taken part in. Hannah has also enjoyed being a part of Ovation’s Improvaganza team since her freshman year. Most recently, she has been granted the position of being 1 of 12 State Thespian Officers of the Texas Thespians Society where she will represent Ovation Theatre at a state level.

As a returning Ovation officer, Hannah hopes to empower her peers through leading them to discover their passions in Ovation along with creating a loving and supportive environment.

 

JJ Moss
(Class of ‘27)

JJ Moss is a senior who has been part of Ovation since his freshman year.

He has participated in 11 Ovation shows including two states qualifying UIL OAP companies. He has also been a part of Ovation’s Improvaganza team since his freshman year and participated in the Texas Thespian Festival's Texas Only Improv Challenge during his sophomore and junior year. He is excited for his last year and is ready to face all the challenges that come his way, side by side with his peers.

As an Ovation Officer, JJ wants to ensure everybody in Ovation has a helping hand, so no one feels like they are alone.

 

Juana Roa Atuesta
(Class of ‘27)

Juana Sofia Roa Atuesta is a senior who has been part of Ovation since her freshman year.

She began choreographing for the choir and theater programs (Encovation) her junior year and is now ready to take on the role of Head Choreographer. Over her time in Ovation, she has participated in 11 productions, including two state runs of a UIL One-Act Play (OAP) during her sophomore and junior years. She also earned a national-qualifying Individual Event (IE) at the Texas Thespian Festival and will soon be a three-year member of Improvaganza, joining the varsity team her senior year.

As an Ovation officer, Juana Sofia hopes to be someone her company can turn to, whether as a leader or a friend, and ultimately aims to strengthen Ovation's ability to show love and respect not just through their actions, but through their art.

 

Autumn Sanchez
(Class of ‘28)

Autumn Sanchez is an upcoming Junior who has been a part of Ovation Theatre since her Freshman year.

She has participated in a total of 6 shows, and each show has given her an opportunity to learn something new. Autumn has also enjoyed being a part of Ovation Theatre’s Improvaganza since her Freshman year and has had two nationally qualifying IEs at the Texas Thespian Festival in Dallas. Autumn states the everyday interaction with her peers is what makes Ovation special.

As an officer, Autumn strives to continue to make Ovation a happy place. She is passionate about being there for others and growing an encouraging environment for all to be a part of.
